Adoption Profile: Jeff & Cathy
Hello!!! We are a fun loving couple who have been married for 13 years and have been together since high school. We are just as happy and in love today as the day we married. Like many couples, we have experienced years of infertility, and we both look forward to expanding our family once again through the miracle of adoption. We know that you are making a very important decision and that you want your baby to be with a happy and loving family. We admire your courage for considering adoption and want you to know that as adoptive parents, we will support whatever life experiences your child wants to pursue, and needless to say, love them with all of our hearts.
Cathy by Jeff
Cathy is my soul mate. She has a great sense of humor, loves music, games, and relaxing evenings at home with our adopted son Jacob. Cathy also loves being outside, whether it’s riding bikes and picnicking at a local park, or taking Jake on an exploration of the Cincinnati Zoo. She is so easy going and is always smiling and laughing, so much so that our 8 year old parrot named Sam even impersonates her laugh. Cathy is a Registered Nurse. She spent many years working with the elderly. It is amazing how much she cares about her patients and helps them through their difficult times. With the arrival of Jacob, Cathy has lovingly transitioned her career to being a stay at home Mom. Cathy’s warmth, humor, self confidence and dedication to excellence make her an inspiring role model and a great Mother.
Jeff by Cathy
Jeff is a wonderful person. He is kind, fun-loving & supportive. He has always stayed by my side through all the years we’ve been together & he is my best friend. He enjoys spending the majority of his time away from work with Jake and me in our fun family activities. Some of the activities that we enjoy include going camping, taking a hike at our property in Red River Gorge, long weekend trips to Chicago, swimming and many evenings at the park playground. Jeff is extremely family-oriented. He plans large family vacations where our extended family often attend. Jeff’s job as an owner/engineer has made him a great provider, but he also understands the importance of keeping family first. Most importantly, he is supportive of me being a stay at home mom and has been able to provide us the flexibility of that decision. Jeff is a great husband & is also a great dad.
Our Home
We live on a private drive in Colerain Township on the west side of Cincinnati with many other young families with children. On many evenings, we take a walk or a wagon ride on the near quarter-mile drive far away from busy traffic. We are also within 15 minutes of Miami Whitewater Forest and Winton Woods Park which we often go to for a bike ride or an afternoon picnic. We love to camp and be outdoors and spend much of our summer with family and friends enjoying time together in and about our family-friendly community.
