Chas, Angie & Jacob Adoption Profile: Chas & Angie

Chas

Chas is a good looking man with black hair and green eyes.  He is the younger of two children.  He and his sister were both adopted as infants.  He is also the big brother of two biological sisters whom he found and united with in 2005.  Chas has a good sense of humor and his ability to make me laugh is what won my heart.  He is a very devoted husband and father.  Chas has the reputation of being a good leader and organizer.  If he feels like his skills and talents can benefit a situation, he never hesitates to jump in and offer a hand.  He is a senior project manager for a local company.  Chas likes a good challenge whether it is sports or a project around the house.  Chas’ guilty pleasures in life are roller coasters, Skyline Chili and Chipotle!  When it comes to spending time with family and friends he enjoys camping, golfing, sports, grilling out or just hanging out and watching movies.  When it comes to enjoying some time alone, Chas likes to take a nap, sit down with a good book or catch up on some of his favorite shows.

Angie

Angie is fourth in the line of seven children.  She is 5’7” tall with brown hair and brown eyes.  She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education, however, she is currently a stay at home Mom which is something that is very important to us and our growing family.  Angie tutor’s for a few hours in the evenings during the week for children who struggle with reading.  Angie’s family and friends always come to her when they need a good listener or advice.  Angie is passionate about her faith and has a deep love and appreciation for the people in her life.  Angie’s guilty pleasures are chocolate, coffee, popcorn with parmesan cheese and reality TV shows.  When spending time with family and friends, Angie loves cook outs, camping, and going on road trips.  When it comes to enjoying some time alone, Angie likes to take a nap, listen to music, or read.

Our Family

We adopted our son, Jacob, in 2006.  He is a very loving and active little boy who is obsessed with trains and loves to play the drums and piano.  He is very excited to be a big brother one day.
Chas and I were both raised in strong practicing Catholic families.  We try our best to make God the head of our family and keep Him at the center of every decision we make.  We make it a priority to attend Sunday Mass and want to instill the importance of this in our children.
Both of our families have long-time traditions when it comes to family dinners and spending time together on holidays.  Living very close to our parents and siblings, allows us to see each other often and also gives everyone the peace of mind of knowing that someone is always there when we need each other.

Our Home

We live on a side street in a small neighborhood in Cincinnati.  Our house has a fenced in back yard with several mature trees.  Our backyard also has a swingset, sandbox, and plenty of room to run and explore.  We live near a park and the streets have sidewalks which are great for taking walks and riding bikes.
