<p>Presented by Liz Tassone, Gerontologist and the Host of the Caring Matters E-CAREline sponsored by Catholic Charities of SouthWestern Ohio, and  Sheryl Rajbhandari, Volunteer Program Director</p>
<p>In collaboration with Mercy Franciscan Terrace Nursing Home, Catholic Charities of SouthWestern Ohio, and numerous volunteers, a weekly program has been organized by Sheryl Rajbhandari to provide meaningful activities for the senior members from the Bhutanese refugee community from Burundi.  Activities for the Bhutanese seniors include music, dance, games, crafts, gardening, ESL classes and social interaction with the residents of Mercy Franciscan Terrace makes the day an enjoyable learning experience for all.  Tune-in to learn more about this wonderful program, which has truly enhanced the lives of our newest U.S. residents.  </p>
<p>The book, &#8220;The Long Journey Home&#8221; authored by Sheryl Rajbhandari contains stories narrated by resettled Bhutanese.   Hard-copies of the book are available for sale at Blurb.com which has been priced US $ 19.95.</p>
