                   Presenter:  Stephenie Rulli, M.Ed., H.R.D.
This segment will introduce Sonya’s true story of how she developed the Miracle Mind program to help her mother-in-law to overcome the debilitating effects of a stroke. The surprising result is when the familial foundation is strong, a family can survive virtually any obstacle.

What is Polypharmacy? It means “many drugs” and refers to problems that can occur when a patient is taking more medications than are actually needed. It is a particular concern for older adults. Although stroke is a disease of the brain, it can affect the entire body. The effects of a stroke range from mild to severe and can include paralysis, problems with thinking, problems with speaking, and emotional problems.
